Asia is one of the pins in the "Something New In Every Corner of Our World" Press set, given to members of the media to promote new attractions. It was also released on a Was released on a 2 1/2" x 3" card that read, "ASIA March 1999, With my thanks as we begin a new adventure with the premiere of a new continent." It was signed Bob Lamb. This pin commemorates the open of the Asia section of Disney's Animal Kingdom. In the center is a yin yang symbol with a tiger barely seen in behind it. Below it is the word "asia," then DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM, then "Walt Disney World" at the bottom. At the top is the pin set's stylized Mickey Mouse logo in tans and browns, and a red banner that reads "1999." The pin measures 1 1/16" (2.7 cm) wide and 1 1/8" (2.8 cm) tall. The reverse is stamped © Disney.
