|Something unusual for fans of Alice in Wonderland and/or Lewis Carroll (Charles Dodgson).|
When my wife visited Oxford, England (where Carroll taught and lived) in the early- to mid- 1990s, she found a number of non-Disney Alice pins. This is one of those pins - a painted enamel, very un-Disneylike, Cheshire Cat. The back is blank.
Other Alice pins which my wife bought at the same time look like copies of old color illustration printed on paper, put into a "gold" circle (about 3/4" in diameter) and covered with acrylic or the like. Those pins include #21896, #21897, and #21898.
