WDW - Lights, Camera, Pins - MGM 2004 Event
These pins were released as part of the Lights, Camera, Pins Event held at Disney-MGM Studios on March 27, 2004. Most all of the the pins are event exclusive and were only available to event participants. All pins were awarded to guests via the Random Selection Process (RSP).

I have left the listing as public and the end date open since this pin has been said to NOT be event exclusive. There is a half circle in the center of the pin with "Magical Gathering of Pin Traders". To the left are Chip and Dale in tuxedos. To the right is Mickey in a tux. On the bottom is Disney MGM Studios. It has been hinted that every event this year will have a similar pin to tie all the events together. Designed by Disney artist Mark Seppala.
Member adds: "I found this pin in the MGM Studios (4-2-04) and was told that a few had been given to them to sell but the rest had been destroyed as they were for the event".

This limited edition pin features a young Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse with the Lights, Camera, Pins logo in the upper left corner. Mickey is wearing red pants, a white shirt and black jacket with a yellow bow tie. The picture of Walt is in black and white. The background has a blueprint incoporated behind Walt and Mickey.

This LE pin designed by Jeff Ebersohl features Mickey Mouse sitting in a Pharoah's chair and Donald as a Egyptian servant handing the Big Cheese a platter with cheese. This is actually found on the walls in the Indiana Jones set in the Great Movie Ride.
This is a Hidden Mickey (according to the artist)in the GMR. It is in the first section of the Indiana Jones part of the ride - On the left side of the Car just past a large white pillar as you are leaving the first room. It is about eye-level on about a 2-3 feet wide slab. It is dark and you have to look quickly.

This LE pin designed by Alex Maher shows Minnie Mouse getting ready in her dressing room. The top reads, "Disney MGM Studios Lights,Camera, Pins!" Minnie is fussing with her hair in front of the mirror. On her dressing table is a powder puff and a script. The pin will feature a material that has "reflection" qualities.

This LE pin features Minnie Mouse walking down the red carpet into a movie premier. The marquee above her reads, "A Disney Premier Starring Minnie Mouse". The flash bulbs surrounding our star will light up.

This LE pin features more "magic" than the cauldron on the bottom of the pin can contain. Created by Mark Seppala. The cauldron has the kleig light with "Lights, Camera, Pins!". Standing next to the cauldron is the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella. In the cauldron are many magic wielders including the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio, and the Genie from Aladdin. Tinker Bell will slide across the top of the pin.The three red-headed figures inside the globe are Orddu, Orwen and Orgoch from "The Black Cauldron".

This LE pin features the artwork of Randy Noble. Mickey Mouse is on the red carpet coming out of a limo for a movie premier. Pluto is just getting out of the limo. Mickey will slide down the carpet to the movie theater entrance.

This LE Artist Choice pin was designed by Jeff Ebersohl. It pays tribute to the Magic of Disney Animation attraction at the Disney -MGM studio, which has since lost all the animators. In the center of the pin above the pencil and paintbrush is a platform with "The Magic of Disney Animation" inscribed. On top of the platform is Mickey as the Sorcerer's Apprentice. On both sides of the platform are stained-glass type mosaics....this is done with colored, transparent enamel on a metal base....it is not see-thru.
This pin is an accurate depiction of the entranceway to the backstage tour at MGM studios- Orlando.

Also on this pin is Satan, from the 1930 Silly Symphony cartoon short "Hell's Bells".

This 3" by 3" pin features artwork by Alex Maher and is packaged in a wonderful box. It is circa 1930's Disney with Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, and several other of the barnyard characters from that vintage period.

This LE sculpt features Mickey, Goofy and Pluto sitting inside an old-fashioned movie theater. The sculpt features four pins: Chip, Dale, an angry Donald with an empty popcorn tub and Pete. The sculpture's screen lights up.
According to the Certificate of Verification, this sculpt is titled "Disney Movie Magic" and it is by artist Randy Noble.

This LE framed set has 6 pins. 5 are attached to movie posters from various Mickey Mouse movies. The artwork was done by Martha Widener. This was available via RSP at the Lights, Camera, Pins event at the MGM studio.
The pins are attached to the artwork. In each instance, the part of Mickey Mouse is represented by a pin. The one exception is the middle pin, which has both Mickey and Minnie playing/dancing on the piano.
