The Old EPCOT logo on the left, often refered to as the "lotus blossom" design has a distinct meaning. The five rings represent the 5 original pavillions at EPCOT Center, The Land, Journey to Imagination, Energy and World of Motion. The other three opened at later dates. The Globe or earth in the middle represents the World Showcase and their orignal countries or pavallions.( This logo can only be found currently in the concrete walkway behind the main fountain on the way to the World Showcase area.)
