This pin features Mickey Mouse standing in front of the red, white & blue American flag (stars & stripes). Mickey's hands are outstretched as if he is welcoming one and all. The bottom of the pin reads "Disney's America" This is similar to the other pins that were to be released from the Disney Stores but were not due to the end of their selling pins. It was never released and has appeared from other sources, such as cast lanyards, pin events and other outlets. Another member adds: "Disney's America" was a theme park Disney attempted to build in Virginia based on American history. The project was cancelled due to outcry based on the proposed location of the park (too close to Civil War battlefields).
