This pin is one of a set of 14 pins that were available to cast members during Disneyland's 40th anniversary. Each pin represented an attraction that had closed by 1990. This one is for the Frontierland Indian Village, which closed to make way for Bear Country (now Critter Country). The pin shows a round skin with a buffalo at center in a blue circle and feathers dangling below.
The Classic Disneyland card which came with this set reads as follows: "On the outskirts of Frontierland, Native American heritage served as educational entertainment. Guests participated in ceremonial music and dance and watched handicraft demonstrations in the Village, where a number of different tribes were represented. It was part of Disneyland from 1955 until Bear County took its place in 1972. An Audio-Animatronics® version of the village can now be found on the banks of the Rivers of America."
Classic Disneyland Set #3 is #11479
Individual pins for this set are: #1987, #2369, #2819, #10051.
