This is a group for pins sets that are for "years" and where each number is a separate pin.
 | Pin 882: WDW - 1999 Year Characters Pins - (Fab 4)
Four different pins for 1999. Each one features a different popular Disney Character, Mickey as the Sorcerer Apprentice behind number one, Donald as a tourist on vacation holding on to number nine, Minnie as a cheerleader holding on to number nine and Pluto holding his bone next to another number nine. Very cute.

 | Pin 7: 2000 Fab Four Character Icons Pin Set (4 Pins)
This set of four scatter pins - one for each digit of the year "2000" - features the clothing icons of one member of the "Fab 4". They represent (as shown in photo, left to right):
Pin 33982 Pluto - The number "2" in yellow with orange paw prints and green collar, measuring 5/8" (1.6 cm).
Pin 33983 Goofy - The number "0" with blue on the bottom of the zero, orange on the top half and Goofy's green hat on top, measuring 5/8" (1.6 cm) wide by 3/4" (2 cm) tall.
Pin 33984 Mickey - The number "0" with red (yellow buttons) on the bottom half and black on the top of the zero, and a Mickey Mouse hat on top, measuring 5/8" (1.6 cm) wide by 5/8" (1.7 cm) tall.
Pin 33985 Donald - The number "0" with white on the bottom of the zero, blue on the top half and Donald's red tie and blue hat at the very top, measuring 5/8" (1.7 cm) wide by 5/8" (1.6 cm) tall.

 | Pin 499: Animal Kingdom LE 2000 4-pin Set
This is a 4-pin set that spells out "2000" in numbers that are painted with animal prints. the "2" is orange & black,as a tiger. The "0" under it,is black & white. The next "0" is black & white as a zebra. The "0",next to the "2" is brown & white,as a giraffe.
Disney has now produced another set of Animal Kingdom 2000 pins. They are NOT limited edition!
They can be recognized easily because the number 2 and the last 0 are reversed in color. [the 2 is black and white and the last 0 is orange and black] LOOK CLOSELY at your purchase.
The Animal prints appear to be Tiger, Giraffe, Leopard, & Zebra.

Four separate larger sized pins together in this boxed set create the WDW Hand in Hand 2000 logo. Pluto carries a gold number '2' on his back while Donald Duck and Goofy each reach out from inside a blue number '0' and Mickey Mouse is inside a green '0'. This beautiful set comes in a "Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand" commemorative box.

Set of four pins, one for each digit of '2001'. Each pin is a different color, and each has a character and a park icon as follows: 2 = Goofy with Animal Kingdom Tree of Life on green background, 0 = Pluto with Earful Tower on blue background, 0 = Donald Duck with Spaceship Earth on yellow background, 1 = Mickey Mouse with Cinderella's castle on red background. The park icons are drawn as subtle outlines. Together they represent the year 2001 in characters.

 | Pin 6317: WDW - 2001 Character Boxed Pin Set (4 Pins)
This boxed set is similar to the 2000 "Hand in Hand" boxed set (PinPics #1819) but it features WDW's logo for 2001. The pins are the same as PinPics #3317 - but much larger (about 1.5" tall). The top picture shows the inside. The "2" feaures Goofy with Animal Kingdom's Tree of Life on green background. The first "0" features Pluto with MGM's Earful Tower on blue background. The second "0" features Donald Duck with Epcot's Spaceship Earth on yellow background. And the "1" features Mickey Mouse with MK's Cinderella's Castle on red background. The lid has the WDW logo with the phrase "This is the start of something Big!" underneath. The bottom picture shows the outside of the box. Mickey, Pluto, Donald, Goofy, "2001", the WDW logo, and "pixie dust" stars are scattered about. The WDW logo and the stars are embossed gold. It was also available onboard the Disney Magic (and possibly the Wonder). |
