Remember the Discovery River Boats Attraction at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park with this Limited Edition pin. This pin is part of the "White Glove - Remember When" collection and features a pin on pin and a dangle. The Discovery River Boats, which gave guests a close look at the Tree of Life® Attraction, opened April 22, 1998 and closed August 21, 1999. Artwork for this pin was created by Disney Design Group Artist Josh Holtsclaw. Mickey and Minnie Mouse are riding in a boat that has just passed a dragon who is breathing fire. The fire breathing dragon was to be the gateway to Beastly Kingdom which never opened. This gold-finished, textured-back pin measures 2 1/2" tall by 1 1/2" wide. It is backstamped with, "LIMITED EDITION OF-750", the 2007 pin trading logo and, "REMEMBER WHEN-Discovery Riverboats-April 22, 1998-(C)DISNEY-CHINA".
