Subjects - Walt With Series 2002
This series is of 12 commemorative With Walt pins. Each pin features a photograph of Walt Disney in a frame with a Disney character. Some of the pins may be a pin-on-a-pin, while others may be just the photo. These pins are a limited edition of 5000 and are released at Walt Disney World on the seventh of each month, starting in January. In addition to the 12-pin series, there are also some special "With Walt" pins that are given to pin event package holders, and these pins go along with the same theme of Walt Disney with a Disney character. These special pins will be at the bottom of the pin group, below the 12-pin series.

This pin is the first in a twelve pin series of the With Walt Pictures pins. It is a black and white photograph of Walt surrounded by old fashioned Mickey dolls and a colorful old fashioned Mickey on top in the middle of the frame. This pin is 3D.
The frame is bronze-like and has a Mickey Head on top with the Circle D on the bottom.

This pin on pin is a black/white photograph of Walt with his favorite pixie Tinker Bell in color spray pixie dust. The bottom of the pin reads one of Walt's quotes... "There is no art more fascinating than magic." -Walt Disney
This pin came on a Black Lanyard with gold lettering that reads The Princess Ball. The gold Medallion hanging from the Lanyard is round and reads Princess Ball Magic Kingdom February 23, 2002. The back of the Medallion has Aladdin with Limited 1000 Disney Made in China

 | Pin 11537: WDW - Princess Ball - Walt & Tinker Bell Replacement
On February 23rd, 2002, the Magic Kingdom held the Princess Ball Pin Event for a cost of $25 per person plus park admission to attend. Each attendee recieved Pin #9489 which was limited to 1,000 and is a very nice pin. A small sign at the event distribution area stated that some of these pins were not up to Disney standards, so a replacement would be mailed to all event attendees. On May 3rd, 2002, this pin was mailed as the replacement.
The 3D Tinker Bell is in a lower position on the new pin, the frame is now accented with a Mickey head and Disney D, and is now blue instead of black. This revised pin also has the Princess Ball Logo on the reverse, and states that it is a limited edition of 1,000.
The text at the bottom reads:
"There is no art more fascinating than magic"

This pin was released during the Disney MGM Studios Pin Event. It is a Walt With pin on pin that came in a movie reel can. The reel canister is about 7 inches in diameter. The picture of Walt is black and white and it was taken in a movie studio with Walt leaning on a movie camera. It is a pin on pin design with a color Mickey Director on the lower right hand corner of the frame.

This pin is like the rest of the pin on pins being released to celebrate Walt's 100 birthday. This is a color photograph of Walt with a picture of a Dinosaur in the background. Mickey Mouse is riding a yellow dinosaur as the pin on pin.
The photo on the pin is in color. I believe this is a first with the gift with ticket series pins.
Only 500 were given out at the event.

This pin is the eighth of 8 pins being released as part of Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex Big Pin Game on June 1, 2002.
It features a framed Kodak archival photograph of Walt in his Tennis Sweater with his signature across the picture. Mickey is the pin on pin holding a tennis racket.

This pin is part of a series of pin released for Mickey's Star Spangled Pin Event at Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World on June 29th.
It features a framed archival photograph of Walt Disney standing in front of many American Flags. This 3D pin has a color Mickey on top dressed as Uncle Sam.

 | Pin 15758: EPCOT's Search for Imagination Pin Event - Walt with Figment
This pin was released during the Search For Imagination Pin Event at Epcot. A black and white archival photograph of Walt pointing at an aerial map of Epcot. Figment is the pin on pin in color along side the frame.
This pin comes with a gorgeous display which is designed like Spaceship Earth with Mickey's hand and the wand. On Mickey's hand is the event logo. This comes in a beautiful box and was a gift to those that attended the Breakfast Package for the Pin Celebration Event.
The gift was originally planned for 1,200 pieces however a mistake was made during production and the edition size climbed to 2,500. Disney distributed additional gift packages to event guests via fedex around Nov 4th 2002
(per letter rec'd in mine)
So based on the math that means that 1200 were distributed at the breakfast another 1200 were mailed to the breakfast guests which leaves them with 100 plus whatever factory extras they were sent...
