This pin was released in Disneyland as part of a limited edition set of 30 pins (#5007) saluting the United States' participation in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. Donald Duck, right facing left, is ready to roll his black bowling ball. He wears a yellow top and light blue sailor's cap. The rectangular pin's background is blue with gold trim, the Olympic rings, and the words "Disneyland Olympic Team Salute 1988 USA," all in gold, located on the left side of the pin. The pin measures 1 1/4" (3.2 cm) by 7/8" (2.2 cm). Bowling was not an Olympic event that year, but was included as a highlighted sport during that Olympics.
