On 4/12 and 4/13/97 a special birthday celebration was held for Mr. Carl Barks 96th birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort. 250 of Mr. Barks special friends were in attendance, so I estimate the edition size to be in that area. Mr. Barks is reknowned for his Donald Duck artwork having drawn him for many, many years. Also came up with Scrooge McDuck as a character. Originally employed by Walt Disney, Mr. Barks left and illustrated Donald Duck Comics for over 25 years for Western Publishing. He has also produced many very collectible and expensive litho's and other artworks featuring the intrepid duck characters.
