This is a pre-production proof of The Digger pin from the book of spells as seen in the Seance Circle (and reproduced as a pin set), of Disneyland's Haunted Mansion and issued as part of the Haunted Mansion® O'Pin House event commemorating the Mansion's 40th anniversary. The pin is denoted as a pre-production proof by the "PP" stamped on the reverse of the pin. In celebration of its 40th Anniversary, Guests are invited to participate in our Disney Summer Pin Festival 2009 - Haunted Mansion® O'Pin House. Starting June 19 through August 9, 2009, a specially designed collection of pins and trading accessories will be released each week as part of this summer's pin festival. This limited edition boxed pin set resembles the book of spells found in the Seance Circle seen found inside The Haunted Mansion® Attraction. The book opens to reveal pages from the magical book, as well as six (6) tarot card pins. The pins include: The Digger (Caretaker and dog) The Fool (Chandelier Ghost) The Medium (Madame Leota) The Tower (Weather vane) The Skeleton (Skeleton found inside Stretch Room) The Hearse (Hearse found in front of The Haunted Mansion® Chris Chapman of the Disney Design Group created the original artwork for this pin.
