Possible Scrapper Alert - Just got this starter set pin in a suspect lot purchase...rear had tell-tale borders of a scrapper. |

I have the original as I got it with the starter set and the background on the scrapper is only silver and hints of the same blue as stitch as well as the back of the pin having mickey heads all over the back, where as the one I got from the started set and official does not. |

The starter set is open edition, though, and later 2009 versions would have the Mickey heads backstamp. |

I pulled one off of a lanyard today and it's an ABSOLUTE scrapper. There's the border on the back of the pin, and also the hair is less definitive. And also, his top-middle teeth are more curved than pointed as you can see in the picture. |

SCRAPPER CONFIRMATION: GOT MINE OFF A LANYARD YESTERDAY. THE BACKGROUND, WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A GREEN-ISH GOLD COLOR TO IT, IS ONLY SILVER. THE CUT OUT OF THE PIN IS NOT SMOOTH AND HAS TRACES OF METAL LEFT IN THE NOTCH IN STITCH'S RIGHT EAR AND IN OTHER AREAS AROUND THE PIN. SOME PARTS OF THE SILVER OUTLINES ARE THICKER, SUCH AS STITCH'S NAILS. |

Purchased this set from WDW and all of the pins from this starter set have MAJOR flaws! Bordered backgrounds, uncut edges, etc. They look like scrappers but they're not. |
