Is the yellow background shiny or matte finish?

I have an authentic one and a scrapper! If yours doesn't shine then I am sorry but it is most likely junk. I have a friend that purchased this for me from WDI and both of ours are exactly like the one pictured here. Shiny enough that you can see the gold reflecting off the yellow background color.
There are plenty of scrappers out there at this time. This had 1 run! Because of this there shouldn't be variation in coloring or finish. They didn't make this for WDI multiple times so there is no reason to have valid color or polish differences. They made Artist proofs and then 300 identical pins to match the acceptable proofs. A few pins could have subtle flaws but nothing major like off-coloring and/or matte finish! If your finish is not fairly shiny, then you most likely have a scrapper like I do! Just because someone puts it on a WDI card and calls it real does not make it legit. I realize not every pin in the run must look perfect and it is possible for one to look a little less shiny than the other, but not by much.

I have a scrapper that has Maleficent's nostril covering part of the W of the name Walt. A claw touches the M in Maleficent. Basically the Pin on Pin part was incorrect and WDI would have never accepted this batch. It is definitely a scrapper... lighter yellow background and very low polish bordering on matte with vertical lines. Many potential trading partners have what I do now and that is the reason traders have risen dramatically in past months. Some people trading here have an entire list of traders where, 90% have been verified to be scrappers, so be mindful when picking a trading partner.

Received a scrapper per "Anonymous User's" description. So sad because it's such a beautiful pin.
