Could a scrapper warning please be added to this listing? Scrappers of this pin have been found on WDW and DLR cast member lanyards for many months now. For the scrapper version of this pin, please see pin #81389.
There are a few other differences between the authentic and the scrapper:
*The counterfeit has no blue pupils on the eyes, it is just all silver metal
*The counterfeit has no red lips, it is just silver metal.
*The paint is definitely duller on the counterfeit and it is a little streaky.
*The wings have sparkle/glitter paint, but if you look closely, you noticee that even the glitter paint has streaks in it.

I just looked at this pin that my daughter traded for yesterday at DHS. I'm pretty sure it is a scrapper as the paint is streaky, it has rough edge with the "waffle" effect from what I assume is incorrect cutting and the eye color is all wrong (the part that is supposed to be white is blue & the blue part is just metal.) No border on the back stamp, tho. |

11/1/2011 I just bought this pin at Disney Hollywood Studios at the pin trading station new on card and the lips and pupils are silver, so this is not indicative of a scrapper - perhaps a different version of this pin. Perhaps the appearance on the photo is due to flash. |
